Frequently Asked Questions
How can I find the clinic, and is parking available?
The clinic is conveniently located and easily accessible for clients coming from Montreal, Laval, and the North Shore. There is plenty of parking right next to the building, which has two entrances for added convenience.
How long does it usually take to get an appointment?
During the summer season, we are generally able to schedule most clients within two weeks. Please note that the winter season is typically busier, and appointment availability may be more limited during that time.
We recommend checking our online booking platform regularly for current availability and sending us an email with your name, email address, and phone number if you wish to be added to the waitlist.
Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No. A referral from your doctor is not needed to start therapy.
How many sessions will I need to attend?
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, the challenges you are addressing, and your personal history. Some clients notice meaningful improvement within a few sessions, while others benefit from a longer course of therapy. Many people engage in therapy for approximately 10 to 20 sessions, though some choose to continue beyond that for deeper or ongoing work.
Are the sessions covered by insurance companies?
The vast majority of insurance companies cover the therapy services offered by a licensed psychologist.
It is therefore important to contact your insurance company before embarking on therapy to ensure that you have the proper coverage for services provided by our clinic.
What about the fees?
We offer psychotherapy sessions of 50 minutes at a rate of 190 CAD, available either online or in person.
Therapy sessions can be paid by credit card, cash or e-transfer.
