BONJOUR

I'm Racha Affara, a licensed psychologist with a deep passion for supporting individuals, especially mothers and immigrant parents, as they navigate their unique challenges. Whether you're adjusting to life in a new country, managing the demands of motherhood, or facing anxiety, depression, or major life transitions, I am here to guide you on your path towards healing and self-discovery.

As an immigrant and a mother myself, I understand the complexities of balancing cultural identity, family responsibilities, and personal well-being.

I know how difficult it can be to adapt to new environments while also raising children and trying to maintain a sense of self. That's why I focus on creating a space where immigrant parents, particularly mothers, feel seen, heard, and supported.

With over 8 years of experience and training in evidence-based therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and goals. Together, we can explore your challenges and build the strength and resilience to move forward.

Whether you're navigating the pressures of motherhood, adapting to life in a new culture, or seeking to reconnect with yourself, I offer personalized care that is rooted in empathy and cultural sensitivity.

As a registered and certified member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ), I respect the ethical framework of the psychology profession.

To maintain my professional development, I take part in ongoing training.

Moreover, I regularly participate in clinical supervisions and consultations with other specialized practitioners, and I place great importance on both activities, as they enable me to continue to develop as a practitioner in order to offer my clients a highly professional and personalized experience.

Warm regards,

Racha,
